A reunion with kindness

I’m as hardcore of a skeptic as you’ll ever find, but I’m also sensitive to those moments in life that make you question if everything is as random as some people make it out to be.

To put it more simply: there are only so many damn coincidences. Sometimes, you’re being hit over the head with a lesson and you’d be a fool not to notice.

Recently, I had one of those moments, which I detail in the Twitter thread below.

Just when I needed to be reminded of the kindness and the good people that still exist in this world, an unassuming woman named Sandra reappeared in my life, after helping my family several years ago.

I hope that you will keep yourself open to such encounters if you are in need of a similar reminder.
